After crossing Brooklyn Bridge, we visited the “ 9/11Memorial”.
-ブルックリン橋を渡った後、9/11メモリアルパークを訪れました。
It’s for remembering the victims of the terrorist attacks at the World
Trade Center in 2001.
-それは、２００１年のワールドトレードセンターのテロの犠牲者を追悼するもので
す。
There are two memorial ponds at the places where the Twin Towers used to be.
-かつてツインタワーのあった場所に二つのメモリアルの池があります。
And the names of all the victims are on the stones surrounding the ponds.
-そして、池の周りの石碑には犠牲になった方々全員の名前が刻まれています。
I just couldn’t believe such a thing really happened in the middle of the
city like this….
-こんな都会の真ん中で、あのような事が起きたとはどうしても信じられませんでした
…
It touched my heart very very deeply.
-深く深く心が打たれました。
